Elders-in-residence program brings traditional learning to campus

In January,the Indigenous Wellness Research Institute, part of the UW's School of Social Work, launched a pilot program to bring Elders from Native American and Alaska Native tribes from Washington and Alaska to campus. The program is co-sponsored by the Department of American Indian Studies.
