The Washington Center for the Book has announced the finalists for the 2015 Washington State Book Awards. These prizes are awarded for books published in 2014 by Washington state authors. My Body Is a Book of Rules, the debut memoir from American Indian Studies adviser Elissa Washuta, is a finalist in the biography/memoir category. The full list of finalists can be viewed here.
The winning titles will be announced at a celebration at the Central Library of the Seattle Public Library on October 10 at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to all.
