Submitted by Whitney Miller on

The Department of American Indian Studies is pleased to share that Ashley Lewis (Quinault), a recent University of Washington AIS graduate now pursuing her PhD at UC Davis, has published a new piece in the American Historical Review.

Lewis’s contribution, “Indigenous Challenges to ‘Little Dictators,’” appears as part of the AHR’s #AHRSyllabus project, “Authoritarianism 101.” Her module, designed for use in high school and college classrooms, is currently available as an open-access resource through the American Historical Association’s Indigenous Challenges to “Little Dictators” teaching module. The broader set of lessons can be explored in the “Authoritarianism 101” AHR syllabus collection.

Congratulations, Ashley!
